Welcome to the 2009 Gateway Saddle Club Show Season

We are looking forward to seeing our former members and we have a awesome turn out of new members. Gateway welcomes you to a great season and are looking forward to having a great show season with you. Gateway is still accepting new members and sponsors. Come and enjoy yourself and meet a great bunch of people. We are proud of our end of the year awards for all your hard work that you don't always get with other clubs. We give awards for 1st thru 6th place in all classes. One exception Leadline where those little ones are all 1st place winners and they get a trophy almost as tall as they are for the year end awards. Everyone is welcome to attend our yearly awards banquet check website for dates or just come on out to a show.
The officers would all like to Thank all of the Volunteers for helping out last season. It made the shows a success. If you would like to help with the shows this year let us know. A special Thank you to all of our sponsors for making our shows possible.
We are really excited about rolling out this years shows. We had a great turn out with our Jackpot Barrel Class with 100% payback. 1st place 40%, 2nd place 30%, 4th place 10%. Everyone's favorite. For those of us that have young horses we have added a Beginner Horse Class, 5 Years and under with proof of age. We will have open reining all ages for horse and pony to show off your skills. Pony exhibitors 13 and under. See our Show bill to review all the classes we have to offer there is something for everyone.

NEW arena Directions to Skip-n-Easy Ranch
From Troy: Take Hwy 47 to Hawk point. At stop sign go straight (hwy A), left on Prairie Rd, go about a block arena
on right.
From Hwy 70 west: exit warrenton (hwy 47) go north about 15miles, at 4 way turn left onto Hwy A to, left onto
Prairie Rd, go about one block and arena is on the right
Directions to the Lincoln County Fairgrounds:
Please use the horse gate
The fairgrounds are located on Lincoln County Fairgrounds Roads.
From Troy: At the intersection of Hwy 61 & 47, go west on Hwy 47 for 1.5 miles. Make a right onto Fairgrounds
Road. The grounds are approximately ¼ mile on the right.
From Interstate 70: Take the Warrenton exit (Hwy 47). Go north on Hwy. 47, to Hawk Point. At the 4-way turn
right and continue on Hwy 47. Approximately 7 miles to the first intersection past Hwy. H and make a left turn
onto Fairgrounds road. The grounds are approximately ¼ mile on the right.
Directions to the Missouri Trail Riders:
Missouri Trial Riders are located on Hwy 47 Winfield, MO
From Troy: Go 9 ½ miles east of Troy on Hwy 47, Missouri Trail Riders Arena, is located on the south side of Hwy
47.
From Winfield: Go 4 ½ miles west of Hwy 79, on Hwy 47, Missouri Trail Riders Arena, is located on the south side
of Hwy 47. |
